finding your passion

Are you fulfilled? Are you utilizing your gifts/talents? Do you dread going to work daily? If you answered “no”, “no”, “yes”, then there is a possibility that you may have not

found your purpose yet. Thankfully, the secret to finding your passion and purpose is pretty simple.

Because the truth is that you’ll find true satisfaction, passion, and fulfillment when you find a career that matches your God-given gifts and talents or when you find a way to use those gifts and talents on a part-time basis outside of your profession. Finding your passion requires God-given guidance…

Another possibility is that you may be a multifaceted individual. If this is the case, the career that you are currently pursuing may be satisfying but only seasonal. This means there may also be something else that you’re born to do that would make use of yet another gift that dwells inside of you.

If you agree with what I’ve said so far, and are interested in finding your passion, then seek God and look within yourself to discover your purpose for being here on this earth.

He will give you relevant insight and direction regarding your gifts and talents and how to effectively fulfill your purpose.

Once you discover your passion and purpose, pursue it in some sort of capacity, and I guarantee; you will be happy and fulfilled.

I speak of this from personal experience. My motto is- “Do what you love and love what you do; when you lose the two, find something new.” That’s the way to finding your passion in life.

For instance, I served as an educator for seven years. My first three years were magnificent because I was doing what I loved and loving what I was doing.

But then…over the next four years my desire for teaching began to dwindle significantly. I was becoming very frustrated and my wonderful job was turning into a tedious chore.

The reason was that my passions for producing music and delivering speeches were increasing.

As a result, I prayed about the situation and received counsel on finding my passion from the Lord.

The plan that was revealed to me was to pursue music production, motivational speaking, and writing as careers. So, for the last eight years I have been a fulfilled entrepreneur successfully and effectively pursuing these endeavors.
